This morning I woke up to, "This is the best day of my life!" It was Carson sharing his excitement about going to Kindergarten! He had his clothes laid out and was ready to get dressed for the day and get to school!
What did he get on his shirt? It must be the sun!
Our big 3rd grader! Madelyn wanted her hair curled this morning, but no bows or clips! She's growing up too fast!
I took the kids to school this morning to make sure they found their teachers! Carson was too cool to walk with us!
Madelyn found her friends at her dot!
After I dropped Madelyn off at her dot we walked back to the kindergarten area to drop Carson off. Carson was so excited to see all the other kids in his class! It was a zoo! There are 34 kids in Carson's class and 36 in the other kindergarten class!

I thought he was a little sad for me to leave, but it was the sun blinding him!

After all the kindergartners said the Pledge of Allegiance before heading into their class.
Carson came home with a big smile on his face! They had gone around the school looking for the gingerbread man!
Carson loved his first day of school and can't wait to go back tomorrow!
Madelyn had a good first day too! They had a pre-spelling test and did some math assessment tests. She likes her teacher and is happy to be with her friends this year!
