We started our first day at the Magic Kingdom in the Tiki Room! Aubrey started our day with a little fit, prior to going in to see the birds. Aubrey doesn't like to be kept in the dark about what is going on! Once we were inside and she saw the birds singing, she thought it was pretty cool! This was the routine for most of the day with Aubrey! Before every ride she would ask, "does it have a big dip?"

Then we went to the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. It was cool to see how they have incorporated Jack Sparrow into the ride!
We fast passed Indiana Jones, which is where Jon lost his work phone. We are hoping to get a call from Indiana Jones himself, telling us he found it! We got to ride in the front row and Carson was our driver! He thought it was pretty cool to sit behind the steering wheel and "drive" the jeep!
The Haunted Mansion, which was scarier than I remembered, was one that Madelyn really wanted to ride. After we got into the Mansion she wasn't too sure about it anymore!
We also fast passed Splash Mountain, which Aubrey could not be bribed or tricked into getting on. The kids enjoyed singing the songs and all the cute animals! It is a fun ride and the logs were big enough for all six of us to ride in! Poor Tammy was in the front and got the wettest!

We caught the Celebration Parade and the girls had fun dancing while the guys went to get fast passes for the Buzz Light-year ride! Carson loves this ride and it became a competition to see who could score the most points! I think Jon won!

Our last ride of the day was Big Thunder Mountain! This was always my favorite Disney ride when I was a kid! Aubrey was willing to go on Big Thunder Mountain, but only with Aunt Tammy.

Uncle Nic and Jon on Big Thunder Mountain! This was Jon's favorite ride as a kid too! We had a great first day at Disneyland! It was really fun that our kids could ride all the rides with us! Aubrey was really brave and went on everything, but Splash Mountain! We'll see how she does the rest of the week!
After we left the park we went to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner. By the time we were done with dinner the kids were wiped out. On our way home Jon asked the kids what they thought of Disneyland. Carson's response was, "So, they call this the Happiest place on Earth, but I thought Heaven was the Happiest place?"
