Today I was studying for my A&P Lab final, so I let Carson play the wii! I let him play Mario Kart by himself all the time and have never had any problems! Just this week he opened up the Toadette character and was ecstatic! He has worked (can you really call it work?) hard to master this game over the past 6 months! He had all the courses opened, including the mirror ones, almost all the characters (I think he had 3 to go) and all the bikes/cars! Hours of playing paid off by gold squares filling his "license"! He was so proud! In a mater of seconds he threw it all away! He came upstairs in tears saying, "the game took away all my gold squares!" It was tragic! He showed me what he did and he was pushing buttons and when it asked "Erase License" he chose "Yes"! I felt bad, but I am sue it will be a matter of time before he will be right back where he was!
Jon's response when Carson told him was classic! "Just shows you how important reading really is!" Love it!

That is so sad! I can picture Ethan crying if that happened to him. My kids will be excited to hear there is a Toadette character. Ethan just opened Baby Daisy and was so excited. What are mirror courses? We really need to hook the wii up so Carson and Ethan can play against each other.
Oh that is a bummer!
