Madelyn has been participating in Activity Days since the beginning of February. They have planned activities on the second and fourth Wednesdays each month. Sis. Hardy and Sis. Low have planned activities including service projects, learning about Chinese New Year, Nutrition and exercise, writing Valentine's and bread making! They also had a good-bye party for Sis. Low who is moving to Alaska in a few weeks. Sis. Leeper is the new leader serving with Sis. Hardy.
This week the activity was cake decorating! Madelyn was very excited to bake a cake and decorate it! Madelyn picked a chocolate devil food cake and we baked it on Tuesday night after dinner! I helped Madelyn measure out all the ingredients and follow the directions!

This is the final product! Madelyn decorated it with frosting, skittles, and M&M's! It was delicious! Maybe she can make Aubrey's birthday cake in August!
I think next time she decorates a cake I will have her wear an apron, she wore a lot of the icing home!

Madelyn's cake turned out super cute! And she is so fun to have in Activity Days!! Maybe we should make aprons for an activity and have the girls wear them each week. ;-)
