Today was Fire Safety for Carson's class at Kiddie Kollege and Aubrey and I got to tag along. There were several Firefighters from the North Las Vegas Fire Department to help the kids practice: Stop, Drop & Roll, crawling low, listen to what a smoke detector sounds like, and even simulate the smoke detector going off in your house. There was also a fire truck to check out and little toy phones that helped the kids practice calling 9-1-1 during an emergency. It was a windy day, but the kids really enjoyed getting to see some Firefighters!
