The fall semester is almost over (YEAH!) and I am counting down the days of lecture and labs that I have to attend! Yes, I finally made it, only one more 3 hour in class lab! Yippee! This has been a challenging class and I went into it with the wrong attitude, all I wanted to do was pass. After my first exam I changed that attitude to "I want an A". I got an A on my first exam, but barely managed a disappointing "B" on the second exam. As I prepared for the third exam, I read and studied the week prior and then I was sick the Saturday before and didn't do any studying! I didn't study at all on Saturday and very little on Sunday. I went into the exam on the 10th and didn't have very good expectations for myself! I walked out of class after the exam and was hoping for a B, but wasn't even sure if I would be able to pull that off! I would have to wait until Wednesday to final out how I performed!
I don't know what is worse, preparing for an Exam or waiting to find out how I did. All day Monday and Tuesday I couldn't help but think about this one question on the Exam, #23! I couldn't get over the way he worded it and I knew that I would have to plead my case in order to get points for it!
Wednesday finally came and I couldn't wait to get to class and find out how I did! I got to class a few minutes early only to find out that my teacher hadn't graded the scan tron portion of the test! Are you kidding me! That's the easiest part to grade! None the less, after class I pleaded my case for #23 and he agreed with me and said that I would get the points for it. He also told our class that he would have our grades posted before the end of the day Wednesday, more waiting!
After checking the website several times, finally at 10:30pm there was a grade! I did much better than I thought and got a 95%! I woke Jon up when I did my happy dance! I was so excited!!
As with every quiz or exam that I have taken this semester, before I say how I did Madelyn says, "What did you get, a B?" As if her mom is not capable of getting an A! It just cracked me up how she always says the same thing! Thanks for your confidence Madelyn!
*I finally got my actual print out from the exam on Monday, Nov. 17th, and I found out that I got the highest grade in the class! Sorry if I am gloating, but I can't even say how excited I am about these results!
