"Chicken legs" was born! It's hard to believe that it has been 5 years since you came into our lives! You are the sweetest little boy we could have ever asked for! You are a great brother to your sisters and are always willing to share and help others! You try to act and talk tough when you play with older kids, but you are so sweet and sensitive deep down!
Carson has turned out to be our dare devil and accident pron child! Yesterday was no different from most days with some bumps and bruises. Last night as I was doing some work for Jon's seminary lesson, the kids were running around upstairs and the dog was going crazy (we have a baby gate at the top of the stairs to keep her downstairs)! I asked the kids to put the dog in her kennel and to settle down. The next thing I know I hear Madelyn yell, "Carson fell down the stairs!" Carson started crying and I ran to see what she was talking about. I still don't know the whole story, but apparently Carson was climbing over the gate and instead of putting his legs over the gate he put them over our "pony" wall and fell down the stairs. When I got down to him he was standing next to the couch, crying and bleeding from his mouth! I checked him out and made sure there wasn't any other bleeding and that everything else was ok and he quickly recovered and was ready to play again! Scared me to death and I thought he would have some bruises on his face this morning, but he only has a little mark under his nose that looks like a rug burn. Thankfully he is ok!
Happy 5th Birthday Carson! Thanks for all the fun and excitement you have brought to our family over the past 5 years! We love you!
