Growing up it seemed like my mom was always baking, especially during the fall and winter months. Part of it was due to being so involved in our lives and helping out at our schools and with fundraisers. Fall at our house meant going to my brothers water polo games! I don't think my parents ever missed a home game, rain or shine! Water polo also meant tournaments and fundraisers, so I always remember my mom making rice krispy treats and other treats for them to sell. My mom would add her own little twist to go with the season, she would add candy corn or orange food coloring and chocolate sprinkles since the tournament was usually in October! Since I like candy corn and the kids have been asking questions about candy corn, I thought I would make some of my mom's candy corn rice krispies! They were yummy!

Carson is our dare devil and he is always trying crazy things, I'm not sure where he gets some of his ideas, but this was his latest! Riding Aubrey's Dora trike on the trampoline! I couldn't help but take a picture and laugh a little!
His attitude changed when I told him that he couldn't ride bikes on the trampoline anymore!
Aubrey has given a new meaning to "True Blue" at our house!
I can't leave this girl alone for a second! The kids were playing upstairs and the next thing I know I hear water running in the kids bathroom! I knew someone was in trouble and when I went to see who was playing in the water I saw these beautiful blue hands! She went downstairs and got into the kitchen cabinets looking for sprinkles and also found the food coloring on the top shelf! Thankfully she didn't get any food coloring on anything in the kitchen or on the carpet when she came back upstairs!
These blue hands will look great at church tomorrow!

Cute idea putting in the candy corns. I made them with Fruity Pebbles once. It was way too sweet.
It is a miracle that Aubrey didn't get blue food coloring all over your house! You are so lucky!
I love the last picture of Aubrey and her blue hands! That's so awesome. :)
