I can't believe Halloween is almost here and I almost ran out of time getting the kids costumes together! I forgot that Carson had his Halloween party this morning, since Friday is Nevada Day.
I was running around like crazy yesterday trying to find a vest, dress shirt belt for each of the kids. After several stores and coming home empty handed I remembered that I Carson had some suit vests that he had out grown and were in the pile of clothes to give away. I lucked out and had 3, one for each pirate! I took some extra material from the valences that we have in our family room and after a few cuts and a little thread we had some belts. I didn't find white dress shirts, so we settled for white shirts from the girls closet and a brown shirt with skull (Target) for Carson! Total cost for 3 pirates: $4
