I feel like I grew up roller skating in the house with my sisters, but didn't realize that my kids have never been roller skating until tonight! Tonight was a family skate night fundraiser for the kids school and they insisted on going! Madelyn and Carson mostly hung on the wall and Aubrey hung on to dad! Unfortunately I wasn't able to skate because of my hurt foot, but Jon was a great sport and took Aubrey around the rink once! Once around was all Aubrey could handle and then she was done! Madelyn and Carson were happy to keep going as long as they could touch the wall! This night brought back so many memories of going to the roller skating rink when I was little! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for roller skates for the kids so they enjoy roller skating too!
*Jennifer & Julianne- Can I have a copy of each of your pictures from our falling sequence at the Village Skate Center that was in the newspaper? I will have to find the one I have and send you each a copy. (Give me a little time though, I think Dad still has the picture in his office).

I grew up roller skating too and feel slightly bad that my kids are not very good at it.
