We wanted to go to Disneyland while it was decorated for Christmas and to see it snow! The only time that would work was if we stopped on our way back from our cruise, so that is what we did. Jon's Mom met us in Ventura for lunch and then we headed down to Disneyland. We had just enough time to ride Small World and see the Christmas Fireworks and then snow on Main Street! Before we headed to our hotel we also caught Fantasmic! It was the first time we had seen Fantasmic at Disneyland and we had a pretty good view for only having to wait about 10 minutes for the show to start!
On our way to Small World we walked through Sleeping Beauty's Castle, something we have never done before.
Small World was decorated for Christmas! It plays jingle bells and they even have a little light show on the exterior of the ride every 15 minutes!
Since it was decorated for the holidays there was a bit of a wait to ride Small World!

We ran back to Disneyland for a few hours the next morning, but it was really cold and rainy! The kids were disappointed that the new Princess, Princess Tiana, was not out greeting people and they canceled her show too! On the bright side, we only had to wait 10 minutes to ride Toy Story Mania!
It rained the whole way home and we even ran into a snow storm too! It was crazy driving in the snow, but we made it home safe and sound, and happy to sleep in our own beds!
