A couple of times a week Madelyn brings home short stories that she writes during creative writing time at school. Ms. Magnuson gives the kids a topic to write about and then they have to organize it into a short story. Ms. Magnuson says that Madelyn's stories are always so creative and she enjoys reading them. Madelyn liked to point out that she writes the longest stories in her class! This is the story she brought home today:
