Friday morning we celebrated my Birthday at home before we headed up to my parents for a fun weekend! Jon spoiled me, as usual, giving me a new camera and a router! We had to open the camera so we could take it with us, but I can't wait to figure out the router! Thanks Jon for being so thoughtful and for spoiling me! I love you!
We headed out for St. George to go to the Jim Brickman Concert and to celebrate Easter with Grandma and Papa McCune and some of our cousins. Friday the kids spent most of the afternoon playing with Legos and down in the play room!
Aubrey's favorite toy at Grandma and Papa's house!
Madelyn, Aubrey and Grandma putting Legos together!
We had a late night Friday, with the concert and waiting for the other cousins to arrive, and Saturday morning came really early! The HOA had an Easter Egg hunt planned at 9am. We were a little late, so most of the candy was gone, but the kids had fun anyway! Carson actually found one of the hidden eggs and won a prize!
Devan, Haylee and Aubrey picking up candy!
Madison and Cami checking their loot!
Carson received these diving rings for finding one of the hidden eggs, just what we need for the pool!
After the egg hunt, the kids got Grandma's fun art activities out! Our kids love to pull these out every time we are there! Aubrey used the record player to color with markers to make fun designs! Madelyn made a butterfly by melting crayons on the hot plate! These activities keeps the kids occupied for hours!
Grandma enlisted Aubrey's help to mix the cake to make the traditional bunny cake. (This was the first year our kids have done one!)
Aubrey was really good at mixing and...
Making sure it tasted just right!
Grandma frosted the cake and all the kids helped decorate it with the candy!
Aubrey and Natalie!
Haylee showing Aubrey how to double dip your egg!
Brad and Carson waiting their turn to dye eggs!
Britney showing me her egg! I love her super blond curly locks!
Saturday afternoon the kids, the dads and uncle Jason went for a swim! I think the chlorine levels were really high, everyone came home with Red eyes! The kids enjoyed the new diving rings, being thrown in the air, racing, floating, surfing on Uncle Jon and Uncle Jared's backs and having chicken fights!
Madelyn loves swimming with her cousins!
I couldn't believe how high Izzy could jump!
Chicken fight! I think Jon and Haylee won!
Saturday night ended with yummy Chile Verde and Burritos for dinner and the kids crashing in the theater with a movie!
Sunday morning we were all ready to go to church on time, hard to believe with so many kids(12) to get ready!
Grandma and Papa turned their fountain into a planter! The flowers are beautiful!
After church the kids realized the Easter Bunny had stopped by leaving candy, eggs and baskets for them to find!
Aubrey searching for eggs in the front yard!
Carson and Brad checking out the eggs they found!
All the kids after the egg hunt!
Britney, Devan, Haylee, Natalie, Alexa, Madison, Izzy, Madelyn, Carson, Aubrey, Brad and Cami!
The weekend wouldn't have been complete with out a Talent Show! I'm not sure how these shows have come to be, but it seems like when a large number of grand kids are at Grandma and Papa's they come up with something! This time the theme was High School Musical 3! There was a lot of singing and dancing by all!
Aubrey and Papa dancing!
Carson was quite the gentleman dancing with Natalie!
I hope that Uncle Jared go this on video! It was really cute how Carson and Natalie danced!
Carson and Brad danced to the song, "The Boys are Back"! Brad and Carson were great sports with all the girls directing them with what to do!
All the Ladies watching Brad and Carson dance!
Jason cooked a great Easter meal and Morag made Grandma McCune's chocolate cake! I don't ever remember Grandma McCune making this cake! I found out that this is the cake that Grandma made every day and sent a piece of it to school in Dad's lunch! I only remember her making her Red Velvet Cake when she came for visits! We all enjoyed the food and company before we headed back to Vegas, minus one! Carson and Brad had so much fun, that we were convinced to let Carson stay until Jared and Annette head home later this week! This is a first for him, so we'll see how he does!

The weekend was so fun and you captured tons of great moments!! When we went back down to see everyone later in the week, Carson was happy and enjoying his "vacation". I guess it's safe to say he's a big boy now!! :)
What a fun weekend. I love the pics of the kids dancing. Carson looks so grown up!
