We had a great day on Thursday! We started the morning at California Adventure getting tickets to World of Color and then getting soaked on Grizzly River Run! Then we headed to have our picture taken with Pluto (the only picture we have from that day), rode Tower of Terror and Soarin' Over California. Then we went to listened to their Timeshare spill! We didn't have any intention of buying, but just wanted to see how theirs worked. Needless to say it was crazy expensive and we took our fast passes and went on our merry little way! Then we left the park and headed to get a late lunch off property. Then we went swimming at the hotel and then headed back to California Adventure for World of Color! We had a great view and we both noticed things we missed when we saw it the first time!
Friday we started our day meeting Chip and Dale! Jon wasn't sure which one was Chip and which was Dale, but they quickly pointed out their differences! They were even dressed up with hats and ties!
We rode Toy Story and went to the Bugs Life show! A show that I haven't seen from start to finish without having to take a screaming child out!
Then we headed over to Disneyland! We were able to check the canoes and Mark Twain off our list of attractions to ride! I think we have officially seen and done every attraction in both parks!
The Canoes! And yes, Jon was right! There are no motors on those canoes, it's up to the people on the canoe and the worker in the back does the steering!
Splash Mountain!
We were in the very front and we were almost as wet as when we rode the Grizzly River Run! Now I know why I always choose the back!
Big Thunder Mountain!
Headed to the Matterhorn and Space Mountain via Sleeping Beauty's castle!
The Matterhorn!
Space Mountain!
We rode the Buzz Lightyear ride a few times and Indiana Jones! We also watched the fireworks in front of the Castle and then Fantasmic on the River's of America! I had a great time with Jon, but there were several times when I wished the kids were there with us! Disney is magical, but seeing our kids light up with excitement is what makes it magical for me!

We are so thankful to know that are kids are having a wonderful experience spending a few days with Grandma! I am thankful that our kids have grandparents that are so involved in their lives! I know that they memories that our kids create with grandma are memories they will remember forever! Our kids love their grandparents and LOVE spending any time they can with them! Thank you again Morag, for taking on our crew so we could get away and play!
