This morning was Carson's Kindergarten Celebration! He and his classmates sang songs like: I am a Pizza, Tooty Tat, ABC Rock , Zoo Phonics, Skinnamarink, Peanut Butter, Monkeys and the Alligator, Let Me See You Boogaloo, and Goodbye Friends! Then Mrs. Moore played a video with pictures showing all the things they have done over the past year! It was so fun to see the kids get excited about seeing themselves on the big screen!
Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Moore, and Carson!
Carson has grown so much this year! He has really learned a lot from Mrs. Moore and she has really encouraged him in everything he does! Carson loves reading, figuring out math problems, and is working at telling time! He is so excited about starting First Grade and being able to eat lunch at school!
Yes, this is one class! I don't know how Mrs. Moore is able to do what she does with so many kids in a short amount of time! We are excited for next year when Aubrey will have her and only 22 students!
Of course my camera battery died before I could get a picture with us and Carson! Carson was so excited about today that he invited both sets of Grandparents to come and celebrate with him! Our kids are so blessed to have Grandparents that are so involved their lives and are able to come to special events in their lives! Grandma and Grandpa Arnold were not able to come from California (kinda of hard with it being on a Wednesday), but Papa and Grandma McCune were able to come down and share this day with Carson!
Grandpa and Grandma Arnold sent Carson this email on his special day:
Hi Carson!
We're thinking about our new kindergarten graduate today!! We sure wish we could be there to share this happy day with you.
We want you to know that we are very, very, proud of you. You have worked hard in school this year and have learned soooomuch!
Keep reading...you have awesome skills and abilities! Reading will help you achieve your goals all of your life.
We can't believe that you are going to be in first grade in just a few weeks! We know you will do well. Grandma wishes she could be your first grade teacher. That is her favorite grade.
Have a super fun day!
We love you Carson!
Grandma and Grandpa Arnold
