Earlier in the year I made a list of things I wanted to do finish or do before September, but September is quickly approaching and I am afraid I need to get going on some of these projects if I am going to finish them! There are a few things I have been able to do and I can a them off and others are on the process and others, well, I might have to save until next Summer!
a 1. Paint our bathroom/fix the base boards- We even got a great deal on some much needed new bath towels! I even convinced Jon to go for a nice shade of Lime Green color and I LOVE them!
2. Paint the downstairs bathroom- I think I know what color I want, just need to agree on it and get the paint!
a 3. Finish the finishing details of the kids bathroom- We got our saw back, so I was able to cut the final pieces for the corners, painted, and we're good to go!
4. Hang a family picture- Why is this so hard for us!
5. Organize the closet under the stairs- Still need to figure out how we are going to
do this! Build shelves or not to build shelves and deciding what will be stored in there!
a 6. Organize my scrapbook closet and guest room- I have decided this is a never ending project! I have organized and reorganized, but it's a constant battle!
7. Build Carson a bed- I am putting this on hold for now, but I really would like to do it, someday!
8. Get rid of all the clothes that don't fit us- Have made progress with Carson and Madelyn, but Aubrey, man where did all these clothes come from!
a 9. Organize the Laundry room- Another constant battle! It's more about keeping up on laundry and putting things away!
10. Finish my first blog book and a few other photo books- I have done a few pages for the first year of our blog, but it is time consuming! I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to scrapbooking, which makes it hard! My plan is to make about 12 templates and then just randomly use them throughout the book, but we'll see how it goes!
11. Learn how to use my router- Um, yeah! I guess reading the instruction manual might help!
a 12. Spend lots of time with Jon and the kids!- Always working on this, but we have taken a few trips to Disneyland, the Discovery Science Center, the Lied Children's Museum, the pool, going to the library reading books, and we have enjoyed playing Monopoly and other games since turning the cable off!
I know there are several things that are not on my list that I have done, as well as ones that I need to do. Including updating all the fun we have had this past month! I can't believe July is half gone already!
