I actually passed my CNA course back in October, but I passed the Nevada Board of Nursing CNA manual and written exam this morning! I know I knew the information, but I was still really nervous! I had the written exam first, which was 55 questions and then I had a little bit of time before my manual skills exam. The manual skills exam consists of performing 3 skills and hand washing and you have 35 minutes to complete everything. There were "actors" for patients and then you had someone with a pen and paper writing as you perform the skills! So nerve racking! When I was done with all my skills I told the lady I was done and she said, "You still have a lot of time. Are you sure you're done?" Oh, I was worried, but I told her I was done. Then she lead me to a hallway to wait for the results. It seemed like FOREVER, but I finally got the paper and flipped it over and I PASSED! Now I work as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility or hospital and I have one more point for my nursing application!
