Disneyland weekend

We took the kids to Disneyland for the holiday weekend! We weren't sure if there would be huge crowds since it was a holiday weekend, but we decided to go anyway! We had so much fun and the kids enjoyed seeing more of the characters and riding some of the rides that we haven't ridden before! I think that we are moving closer to being stroller-free at Disney. I still insist on bringing the double stroller, but we now leave it in a designated spot instead of pushing it all around the park. When the kids start to get tired then we are able to go back to the stroller and let them rest their legs while we push them around.

On our last visit we were unable to see Princess Tiana due to rain! So this visit one of the first orders of business was to see the new Prince and Princess!
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen! The girls loved her beautiful dress! Aubrey informed me that she doesn't have that princess dress and that I needed to buy her one! I told her I would have to see, but I wasn't buying the one they were selling for $65!
The Matterhorn at night!
The rope swing/zip line at California Adventure!
Aubrey on the rope swing!
Carson was so quick I had to get him on the way back!
Brother Bear!
Can't go to California Adventure without stopping to say hi to Mater and McQueen! Carson can't wait for the new Cars area to open! Unfortunately I think he might be over Cars before they finish, but maybe not!
Carson still dreams of being a race car driver!

Carson decided that he was going to go on California Screamin' this trip! Even with his new tennis shoes he was still a little shy of being tall enough to ride! Carson was so determined to ride the roller coaster that we took some of the maps and folded them up and put them in his shoes and guess what, it worked! Jon said he was pulled out of line twice to be measured, but he made it on the ride and he loved it!
Measuring up!
All smiles just before take off!
Making the loop!
Mr. Incredible!
Pocahontas really took the time to talk with each of the kids and give them some attention!

We caught the animator show by the Monsters Inc. ride! Madelyn was picked to help with the show and even had her first opportunity to sing on stage! I think she was little nervous, but she did a great job!
Madelyn on stage!
After the show the animator gave her the picture from the show and we got to meet the characters from the show!
Mickey!
Woody!
Cinderella! Carson wasn't sure if he wanted to have his picture taken with her!
Our little Monsters!
Riding Casey's Circus Train!
Alice in Wonderland on her way to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party!
Just before we headed home for the day, we couldn't resist a picture with Aladdin and Jasmine! We had fun going to the parks and then going back to the hotel to swim to relax and hangout!

Cute pictures, especially the one with Pocahontas. You'll have to tell us when the Cars area opens, then maybe we'll make a trip to Disney with you!
