It is hard to believe this is the last time we will send one our kids off to their first day of Preschool! Aubrey has been waiting for her day to have her picture taken in front of our front door since Madelyn and Carson's first day of school (two weeks ago)! She picked out a cute shirt from Grandma, her "school pants", and her Camp Rock shoes! She calls them her school pants because they look like the shorts and pants that Madelyn and Carson have to wear to school! I tried to do her hair really cute, but she insisted on just one pony tail and no hair bow! It makes me sad that she is growing up so fast and has an opinion on everything!

Then this is what I got when I told her I knew she could do better! She wore the cute orange bracelet for the picture, but decided that she shouldn't take it to school because it might get lost! She knows herself well!
Today wasn't a normal day at preschool. Miss Sheree just introduced herself and went over the class rules. She also read the story "The Kissing Hand" and then had the moms kiss their child's hand and then the child kissed their mom's hand. Aubrey also colored a picture and had her picture taken for their emergency cards. I think Aubrey is more than ready to get the year started and is excited about making new friends, not so sure about the academic side of it!

I think there is a problem with the memory card in my camera. I was only able to take 3 pictures of Aubrey and then it said my card was full and those were the only 3 pictures on the card! It's a 2GB card and I usually can get almost 2000 pictures! I changed the modes on the camera, but it kept saying the card was full! It must have gotten damaged when I dropped the camera in the water over the weekend! I was a little bummed that these were the only pictures that I was able to get, but I am sure that I will get more of her throughout the year! And luckily I have another card and it says I can take more than 3 picture, so it's the card and not the camera!

Hope Aubrey had a great first day. Glad it's just your card that didn't work. Isn't that camera pretty new? I'm sure you're relieved you don't have to buy a new one!
Somehow I thought she would be wearing her new shirt from Grandma. Taylor wore hers the same day to the dentist. Glad to hear your camera is not broken. It was so fun to see you last weekend. Of course never long enough but the kids sure had fun together. Thanks again for the vinyl sign. I'll get it up... after our trees are planted, Andy's off call, and my life gets back to normal... soon, hopefully. ;)
