aCeline Dion
aElton John
aCher
Since Jon has worked for Caesar's/Harrah's we have been able to see Celine, Elton and now we can check Cher off the list! We haven't been able to see Bette Midler, we have had the chance, but it hasn't worked out!
Jon and I were able to attend Cher at the Colosseum last night! We had a fantastic time! I was ticked that we had to check our camera at the door, but we had great seats (down front to the right)! I was amazed at all the amazing costumes that she had, she changes after almost every song, and how good she looks for almost 63! Yes, she has had some "help", but overall she looks good! The show shows how Cher started with Sonny and then made a career of her own! There were a lot of clips from the Sonny and Cher era, the movies she has made over the years, her more current music and a few unnecessary swear words! One thing remains the same is that Cher can still sing! There were a few times that I leaned over to Jon and said, "I didn't know she sang that song?" and Jon replied, "it's Cher. She can sing whatever she wants!" I can't remember all the songs she sang, but here are a few:
If I Could Turn Back Time
Love is a Battlefield
The Beat Goes On
All I Really Want to Do
Half Breed
Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves
Burn Baby Burn (YMCA)
Don't Leave Me This Way
Take Me Home
Love Hurts
Let the Good Times Roll
After All
Walking in Memphis
Strong Enough
Believe
This is the only picture that I was able to get from the night, since there are no cameras allowed in the Colosseum!

Man you are so lucky. I really wanted to see Celine Dion - but the prices (to me) were outragious! I love Cher's music too. She does have a mouth on her, though. But I would have loved to see her. Congats on a successful date night!
I'm jealous! One of the perks to living in Las Vegas is the great shows!
