Baptism Dress

The kids and I made a last minute trip to St. George with hopes of making Madelyn's dress for her baptism.  Prior to heading out Madelyn had picked a pattern to use for her dress and all we needed was to find the fabric and start sewing!    Madelyn's criteria for a dress was simple with a little ribbon trim, no bows, but maybe a flower.
We went to a Ace hardware first, yes they sell fabric, but we didn't find anything that wowed us.  Next we stopped at Christensen's so Grandma could show us the dresses they had there, they closed before Joann's, just in case we couldn't find fabric.  Christensen's had a few dresses to choose from and we found one that was just simple and beautiful!  They only had one in her size, so we picked it up just in case!  Then we went to Joann's and they had a few fabrics to choose from, but not exactly what we wanted.  After much deliberation Madelyn ultimately decided that she wanted to keep the dress that we bought at Christensen's!  We headed home to show Papa the dress that we had found and to email pictures to Jon so we could get Dad's approval!  Sneak peak of the dress!
