Today we were at sea all day! We were a little tired and slept in a little, 8:00am (that really is sleeping in for our kids!) We started the morning participating in Carnival on Deck for the Cure. It is a one mile walk around the top deck (actually 11 laps around the track) in which donations are made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Having lost my mom to Breast Cancer in 1994 and Jon's mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2004, this was special to share with our kids and have them participate with us. We actually we walked a few extra laps and the kids did surprisingly well considering how windy it was and the ship was really moving!
The kids took turns walking, skipping and running with the adults!
I think Aubrey went from one set of arms to the next for most of the walk! But she didn't complain!
