Madelyn's Awards and 1st grade program

We started the last day of school at Madelyn's awards assembly.  She received awards for Honor Roll and Citizenship.  Great job Madelyn! You have worked hard this year!  It is hard to believe we have a middle schooler!

Those who received awards in Madelyn's homeroom class!

After Madelyn's awards we moved over to Aubrey's end of the year performance.  Mrs. Smith prepared a slide show of pictures from the year and then the kids did a year in review!  They shared things they did every month and performed songs and did a little readers theater!

Aubrey was a Hunter in her little performance!
 Aubrey's first grade class!
Mrs. Smith made each of the kids a book filled with things they have done this year!
My favorite story about Aubrey and Mrs. Smith is that Aubrey believes that Mrs. Smith turned sixteen on her birthday this year!  I know she looks really young and on her birthday the PE teacher convinced Aubrey that Mrs. Smith was turning 16 and going to get her driver's license after school!  When she came home and told me I couldn't help but laugh because she really believed him (and still does)!
 Aubrey and Abby!

We picked the kids up from their last day of school and were off on our first adventure of the Summer!
We are headed to Alaska!
