Ketchikan

1st port day: Ketchikan

We went on a tour of the city in search of bald eagles and bears!  We were successful in finding lots of bald eagles, but no luck with bears!  We also walked around a totem pole park where there are people who still carve totems.

 This is a skunk plant!  It smells just like a real skunk!

 This was a girl in her front yard working on the nets!  She and her family catch dog salmon.

 Something we don't see very often, real mailboxes!

 Bald Eagle!  We saw several of them!  They are absolutely beautiful and so graceful when they are flying!
