I love camping at the beach! I have very fond memories of camping at the beach every summer when I was growing up! It was my Mom's favorite vacation!
We have been looking forward to a week at the beach since February 1st! Jon was supposed to come with us, but a last minute project at work required him to stay home! The kids and I headed to El Cap on Tuesday morning to camp with Uncle Jared, Aunt Annette, Aunt Juli, Uncle Andy, and all the cousins! The kids had so much fun! I forget how chilly it is in the morning, but that didn't stop the kids from getting up and putting their swim suits! We would head down to the beach around 12 or 1 and hope the marine layer would burn off by 2 or 3! It was cold, but it didn't stop the kids from getting in the water and riding the waves! I think Madelyn, Britney, and Alexa were in the water the entire time we were down on the beach! The other kids did play in the water, but also enjoyed playing in the sand and playing soccer!
