The much anticipated pinewood derby was this morning! Carson and Jon cut his car out earlier in the week, but the last minute details were left to the last minute! We had a hard time finding the right weights for the car, so Jon ended up taking some of the weights off the cars we have from when he was a kid! Jon and Nic were up until 1 or 2 in the morning watching you tube videos and reading things online that will make your car go fast! Next year I think we will start a little earlier than four days before the race!
The Stake bought a new track and there were a few glitches (the software, the first race all the cars flew off the end of the track), but the boys still had a great time! Carson's car didn't place in the top three to go to the finals, but he did have one the fastest single race times!
