I have been trying to find activities to keep the kids busy this summer and when I found t-shirts for a buck I decided to let them tye dye them! I picked up a tye dye kit at Michael's, but wasn't sure if they would really turn out like the picture on the box! I was a little unsure about letting them do this, I didn't want dye everywhere or all over their clothes! they proved they could be trusted and did a great job taking turns sharing the colors and letting the shirts sit overnight!
Carson chose to try a bully's eye design!
Madelyn went for diagonal lines!
Aubrey decided on a swirl!
I didn't get any pictures during the process, I was too busy making sure dye didn't get everywhere that I forgot! The kit came with 3 colors (Pink, Yellow, and Blue). The kids wanted more colors so we carefully used those 3 colors to make orange, green, and purple! The kids really had fun doing this and want to do it again!
The finished products ready to sit for 24 hours!
