Final Clinical

Today was the last day of clinical for this semester! We started with 7 in my clinical group and ended the semester with 4! I had the best clinical instructor, Ms. Verwey! She was the first instructor I meet for this semester and has been a great support throughout this semester!
At the end of the first week I was beginning to question if I could do this whole nursing school thing, but she helped restore some confidence. She came into my lab at the end of the first week to speak with my lab instructor, but before she left she came and put her arm around me and asked how things were going! I know it seems like no big deal, but that meant a lot to me. She was the first instructor that treated me like a person and not a number! I called her my cheerleader! Every Monday morning at 6:45am, she would greet us with a smile and ask what she could do to help us! Ms. Verwey was always positive and encouraging and I thankful for all she has taught me this semester! She has helped me create a concrete foundation for my future career as a nurse and for that I am so Thankful!
My clinical group at the end of our last shift! (Don't judge, 5:30 am comes real early on Monday morning!) Wayne, Brendon, John, and me!
